From families I've serviced
Zania was the bomb. Very knowledgeable and made me very comfortable in how she delivered information to me. She was my doula, therapist and friend throughout my whole pregnancy. She helped make my labor and delivery everything. If ever I had another baby she will definitely be apart of it. Take her at your own risk.
She is very thorough and serious about her craft. So she not coming to play.

Zania is a kind and knowledgeable doula. From breathing techniques to birthing positions, prenatal coaching to post postpartum and breastfeeding support, she was a professional and great addition to our lives during our labor and delivery experience.

Me and my husband just had our 3rd baby, and decided it would be helpful to have a postpartum doula join us during my postpartum recovery period.
Let's face it, we were officially out numbered and breastfeeding a little we had our hands full and could use a little help. Brittany was a beautiful match for our home. She has an amazingly warm energy about her and so knowledgeable in herbalism.
She jumped right in to help where we needed her to, from helping with the kids, laundry, and dishes. It was so helpful in time where I am not 100% yet. She also offered a kind ear to hear my birth story and offered some good advice on how to navigate our new family dynamic.
So appreciative to have met such a kind soul and highly recommend her during your postpartum journey.

Testimonials

I had the pleasure of having Zania as my doula for an amazing home birth. Before hiring her, I was terrified of birth—the possible outcomes and the haunting disparities in our community. However, throughout our time together, we worked through those fears and replaced them with education.

From the very beginning, I could see her wisdom and deep care for mothers in her community. I wholeheartedly believe I would not have made it through my birth anxiety without her. She also made sure my son’s dad felt informed and involved, which I truly appreciated.

I would recommend her to any mom seeking a doula and would absolutely use her services again for myself!

I would give scared wombs a A ++++ she was the best, very attentive, supportive and encouraging. Was there whenever I called. I could not have asked for a better doula❤️

Zania was an exceptional doula who exceeded our expectations. After interviewing several candidates, choosing her was an easy decision. Her extensive prenatal and postnatal training, knowledge of holistic care, and personal experience as a mother made her the ideal choice. Her positive energy, timely advice, and advocacy were invaluable during labor and delivery. She provided comfort measures like herbal teas, relaxing music, and massages at the onset of labor. She was sure to include my partner, so he had additional support throughout our pregnancy as well.

FAQ

The questions I get most often, answered!

When should I hire a doula?

Anytime is a good time, but the earlier the better! Hiring a doula during pregnancy gives us time to build trust, go over your birth preferences, and make sure you feel fully prepared.

What kind of births do you support?

All kinds. I support hospital births, home births, birth center births, unmedicated births, epidural births, cesarean births, and everything in between. My role is to support your birth, whatever that looks like.

Do you support partners too?

Absolutely. I’m here to support the whole family. I help partners feel confident and involved—never replaced.

What’s included in your services?

Services vary based on the package, but generally include prenatal visits, continuous support during labor, postpartum check-ins, and extras like childbirth education, belly casting, placenta encapsulation, and yoni steams. We’ll find what’s right for you.

How do I book you or ask more questions?

I’d love to connect! You can reach out through the contact form on this website or email me directly at [your email]. Let’s set up a free consultation to talk more about your needs and how I can support you.

What is a yoni steam?

A yoni steam is a traditional practice that involves sitting over a warm herbal steam to support the womb and vaginal wellness. It can be helpful postpartum or anytime you want to reconnect with your body. Each steam is personalized and done in a relaxing, sacred space.

What is placenta encapsulation, and is it safe?

Placenta encapsulation is the process of preparing the placenta after birth, dehydrating it, and placing it into capsules for you to take as a supplement. It’s believed to support energy levels, hormone balance, and milk production. I follow strict safety protocols for handling and preparation.
